Kim Signs with Opus 1 Music

Studio City, CA, January 16, 2013 - Opus 1 Music announces the signing of an exclusive, worldwide publishing agreement with pop-folk singer/songwriter Kim DiVine. A native of Massachusetts, DiVine's original songs have been licensed in television shows such as "One Tree Hill" and "The Real L Word" (Showtime) as well as the film COWGIRLS 'N ANGELS. Kim's voice can also be heard singing the jingle in the recent national ad campaign for JELL-O. Her Opus 1 Music "Artist Series" deal encompasses 25 original songs including her latest EP, "Five", produced by Bill Lefler (Gym Class Heroes, Ingrid Michaelson, Dashboard Confessional). Opus 1 Music is one of the world's biggest independent music libraries, offering one stop music licensing to film, television, games, trailers and advertising.

Gary Helsinger (Opus 1 Music, SVP Licensing & Creative): "We are excited to represent Kim's amazing catalog of pop-folk music for film, TV, and other sync opportunities. Kim's music is instantly memorable, uplifting, and chock-full of real emotion that we know will make her a favorite of both audiences and music placement execs. She's already achieved successes on her own, and Opus 1 is thrilled to feature her in our Artist Series and bring her music to a wider audience."
